10 July 2019 – grant of patent
The technology company, which develops and provides water saving and effluent reduction technologies, has announced that its patent application for microfibre filters suitable for domestic washing machines has now been published. The device is trademarked XFiltra and its design can be licensed by any domestic washing machine manufacturer to drastically reduce microfibre pollution from the washing of clothes. The device can be easily incorporated into any front-loading washing machine during manufacture. Washing clothes containing synthetic fibres such as polyester and nylon has been identified as the single biggest source of primary microplastics released into the oceans every year and XFiltra can capture 99% of such particles. With concerns about the environment growing rapidly, it seems likely that there will be considerable interest in the product. We continue to rate the shares as a SPECULATIVE BUY.
