The motor retailing group, which includes the brands Bristol Street Motors and Macklin Motors as well as Vertu, has announced the acquisition of two Toyota dealerships in the East Midlands trading under the Farmer and Carlisle name. The dealerships, located in Leicester and Loughborough, have been purchased at a cost of £9.2m in cash. The consideration will be funded from the group's existing cash resources and the purchase includes two freehold properties valued at £6m together with cash balances of £0.9m.
