The company has confirmed that it has been awarded a landmark contract on the recently announced new Google Headquarters in King’s Cross, London. This will involve Severfield providing 15,900 tonnes of structural steelwork services for the new 11-storey building with the work scheduled to commence on site in June 2018. This is clearly a feather in the company’s cap and the contract has independently been reported to be worth in the order of £50m. We rate the shares as a BUY.
