The company has been awarded an important contract to provide support services at the 5 Wing Canadian Forces Base in Goose Bay, Canada. The initial 10-year period has an estimated ceiling value of around £400m (C$694m). Annual revenue of between £20m and £30m is expected in the opening years, which is equivalent to the level seen in recent years on the existing agreement. The contract has provision for two further 5-year extensions with a potential ceiling value to Serco over the full 20 years, including indexation, of approximately £870m . . .
