The software and IT services group has announced the acquisition of Proteus Software, a supplier of warehouse management solutions to businesses operating in the areas of third party logistics, warehouse management and supply chain distribution. The customers and products of Proteus will complement Sanderson’s own products, services and customers within its multi-channel retail and manufacturing businesses. The acquisition has cost an initial payment of £1.4m with up to a further £0.5m payable in 2016 depending upon certain performance criteria in the next 12 months. The shares remain ATTRACTIVE.
