The AIM-listed supplier of industrial chains and related power transmission products has made an acquisition in Australia, buying Davidson Chain PTY for cash consideration of AU$6m. The business, which was established in Melbourne in 1991, is a family owned manufacturer and distributor of high quality conveyor chain and will increase the group's access to this market in Australia where it already has a strong market position.
