8 July 2024 - AEON update
It is pleasing to report that Ocado has announced plans to construct another customer fulfilment centre in Japan for its partner AEON NEXT. Ocado entered into an agreement with AEON NEXT in 2019 to develop the online operations of the latter's grocery business using the Ocado Smart Platform. This will be the third such fulfilment centre with the partner with the first one opening last July and the next to open in 2026. The third one announced today will open in 2027.
