The company has announced that it has acquired the remaining 49.9% of Payment Assist that it did not own through an agreement with the vendors - this is a surprise move as the balance of the business was due to be acquired in 2027. The purchase of the business for £5m should save Manx up to £4m and we believe that this is a significant move for the group. As Payment Assist will be wholly owned, Manx will gain the full benefit of this ownership as it will be able to consolidate the company's profits . . .
