7 May 2024 - AGM update
We ,last commented on the packaging group on 29 February when the shares stood at 123.75p and we suggested that they were worth a buy recommendation. Since then the share price has been as high as 145p but today's AGM trading statement has seen the price drop back to 129.5p. Trading in the first few months of 2024 has been challenging as expected although the company expects some improvement over the rest of the year. This may well be the case but there remains some uncertainty about this and any further disappointment . . .
