The high reliability LED lighting and electro-mechanical system manufacturer has announced two contract awards for the UK rail market. These contracts were awarded independently to LPA Connection Systems and LPA Lighting Systems. They have a combined value of £1.9m and are for the supply of interior lighting and intercar power connection systems. The contracts cover 135 cars for the Hitachi AT300 new build trains to be operated by the West Coast Partnership, on the West Coast Mainline.
