It is interesting to note that the company has acquired 12.845m shares in Alliance Pharma at an average price of 46.11p for total consideration of £5.92m. The holding represents 2.38% of the share capital of Alliance Pharma and looks an opportune move. Shares in Alliance Pharma have been recommended by us before although we recommended selling the shares in July at 113.6p as we believed they looked expensive.
