The specialist shipping group has announced its results for the year to 31 December and these have revealed a small drop in revenues to £494m (2020: £518m) with underlying profit before tax falling to £19.7m (2020: £31.5m). Diluted earnings per share on the same basis were significantly lower at 20.0p (2020: 47.9p) and there was no dividend (2020: 8.0p). The year was clearly challenging due to the pandemic but compounded by the fact that markets recovered more slowly than expected and some businesses encountered more challenging conditions than expected.
