The company has won a new contract with a major European defence contractor to provide state of the art microwave modules for use in aerospace radar systems. Filtronic will manufacture and test the modules at its advanced mmWave centre of excellence at Sedgefield. The multi-year contract has a value of between £3.0m and £5.7m and is further good news for the group. The share price of the company has risen strongly over recent weeks although there may be further to go. BUY.
