24 May 2016 – final results
Results for the year to 31 March 2016 saw revenues edge up 2% to £803m with solid financial performance and growth in Television and Family but challenges in Film. Group reported profit before tax was up 9% to £48m and diluted earnings per share came in at 9.6p versus 19.4p on an adjusted basis. There was a 9% increase in the dividend to 1.2p per share (2015: 1.1p), which is relatively insignificant given that the yield is still less than 1%. However, on the whole we continue to believe that the shares look ATTRACTIVE.
