The news that Pfizer may have developed a new vaccine for Covid-19 which has proved effective in over 90% of cases has sent the market roaring up. The FTSE 100 is up over 315 points at 6225 with Wall Street futures also up 4% or more. The downside is that companies such as Avacta, Novacyt and Omega Diagnostics have seen their share prices fall sharply on the basis that they will not be the first to produce such a vaccine . . .
