15 April 2025 - annual results

The leading structural steel group has released its annual results to 31 December 2024 and these have come in ahead of expectations.  Revenue for the year was down 15% at £113.1m, with pre-tax profits down 19% at £10.8m - earnings per share were down 22% at 66.2p.  We had been expecting profits of £10.5m and earnings per share of 63p.  Last year was challenging for the group although this had been expected, with difficult trading conditions throughout the industry.  The results have also suffered from comparatives with the exceptionally strong year . . .
