The company has announced that the Yew Tree Consortium, led by company chairman Lawrence Stroll, proposes to increase its holding in the company to 33% by acquiring 75m new shares at 70p per share.  This will raise some £52.5m for the company.  The company also plans to sell its minority interest in the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team for over £74m although the long term sponsorship agreement will remain unchanged.  This will improve the group's liquidity by over £125m thus strengthening the balance sheet.  Although the move to 33% would normally necessitate . . .
