The specialist engineering group has released its results for the year to 30 September 2024 although these include the ongoing business of Chesterfield Special Cylinders (CSC) and the recently sold business of Precision Machined Components (PMC). With the latter business no longer being part of the group, we have focused on the continuing activities. Revenue in the year in the CSC business fell by 28% to £14.8m (2023: £20.7m) with an adjusted loss before tax of £1.95m (2023: adjusted pre-tax profit of £0.92m).
