24 September 2024 - interim results

The Isle of Man focused financial services group has announced record interim results with pre-tax profits of £3.5m being recorded in the six month period to 30 June.  These were 16% ahead of last year and diluted earnings per share rose by 19% to 1.59p.  There is no dividend as usual.  These are very good results given the challenging trading conditions but the company has taken a pretty bearish stance on the UK economy with serious concerns over the forthcoming autumn statement from Rachel Reeves.  The Government has already warned that tax . . .
