2 November 2018 – distribution agreement
The group has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Safety Tech, a subsidiary of Vision Systems France, to supply the SMARTVISION ‘mirrorless’ Camera Monitoring System (CMS) to bus and coach operators throughout the UK. It will also be supplied to OEMs. The group’s Swedish subsidiary also has exclusivity to supply the product to bus and coach operators in Sweden. The CMS comprises a number of high-definition digital cameras and monitors that replace traditional wing mirrors and improve visibility reducing the risk of accidents and lower lifetime running costs of the vehicle. The agreement is for three years and will further add to the group’s product offering. The shares remain a SPECULATIVE BUY.
