30 November 2017 – final results
Results for the 52 weeks ended 30 September 2017 have been released. The numbers look solid and the share price has moved higher on the news. Underlying revenue rose to £992m, up 10%, and profit before tax was £100.1m. This translates into earnings per share of 14.2p, up 2% on a year earlier. A final dividend of 4.8p takes the total for the year to 7.5p. The shares look cheap and we keep our BUY rating.
